Returning Scenarios (Undergraduate)
Returning for the semester listed on LOA (Leave of Absence) Petition
Steps to take:
- Register for classes according to your priority registration date. Contact your Advising Center for assistance if needed.
Wish to return earlier than listed on LOA (Leave of Absence) Petition
Steps to take:
- Provide notice to your School/College Advising Center as soon as possible.
- Clear any and all obligations to the University; financial, departmental, housing, holds, etc.
Wish to extend return date of current Leave of Absence
Steps to take:
- Submit TU-Portal LOA Form Prior to the end of the second week of the return semester listed on LOA Petition.
- Contact your Advising Center
- Clear any and all obligations to the University; financial, departmental, housing, holds, etc.
- Generally, a Leave of Absence may be granted for one or two consecutive semesters, excluding summer sessions.
Re-Enrollment after an expired Leave of Absence or having left without an approved Leave of Absence
Steps to take:
- Undergraduate Request to Re-Enroll
- Contact your Advising Center
- Clear any and all obligations to the University; financial, departmental, housing, holds, etc.

Reinstatement after four years from an Academic Dismissal
Steps to take:
- Undergraduate Request to Re-Enroll

Returning after a Withdraw with Exception for Medical Reason for the previous semester
Steps to take:
