To better encourage and facilitate the transfer of College of Southern Maryland students to Temple University, Temple and the College of Southern Maryland have established the following transfer agreement:
The Dual Admissions agreement between Temple and the College of Southern Maryland conditionally admits students to Temple at the same time that they are admitted to the College of Southern Maryland and provides the opportunity for merit scholarships to Temple for eligible students. Interested students must enroll in the Dual Admissions program before completing 30 credits, including credits from any colleges previously attended. Students are then admitted to Temple upon attaining their associate’s degree from the College of Southern Maryland. Click here for more details about Dual Admissions with the College of Southern Maryland.
These agreements provide accurate curricular information for prospective transfer students and their academic advisors by lining up associate degree requirements and baccalaureate requirements. The agreements indicate which courses students should take during their associate program in order to be prepared for the Temple baccalaureate program into which they wish to transfer.
Temple and College of Southern Maryland have entered into the following Program-to-Program agreements:
- Associate of Science in Engineering to the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Effective Fall 2021)
