Genomic Medicine major

Hi! My name is Katherine Hurm, and I’m a senior majoring in Genomic Medicine. My research interests include evolutionary computational biology and epigenetics. I currently work in Dr. David Liberles' lab, where I’m creating a model to characterize segregating gene duplicates. Additionally, I am enrolled in Temple's +1 Bioinformatics program, where I look forward to refining my Bioinformatics skills in other research projects!

My research experience at Temple has been incredibly rewarding, shaping my career goals significantly. I’m excited to serve as a Research Ambassador this semester and hope to encourage others to get involved in research!
