Biology major
I’m a senior majoring in Biology at Temple University with a passion for cellular biology and environmental science. My current research focuses on the effects of 2-hydroxyglutarate (2HG) on cellular senescence, following previous findings that link 2HG to the transformation of normal cells into pro-inflammatory cells. With the support of a CARAS Grant, I’m also working on a project assessing the environmental impact of cigarette butts in water, which has deepened my understanding of pollution and toxicology.
Outside of academics, I enjoy traveling with my family, playing the guitar, and watching soccer and basketball. I’m always looking for new experiences and ways to challenge myself.
