Music Therapy major; Neuroscience Research minor
I completed my systematic rapid review through the CARAS (Creative Arts, Research, And Scholarship) program in the Summer of 2021. My project focused on the use of music interventions to promote physiological connectivity in the brain in people with neurodegenerative conditions. This was a great opportunity for me to further explore a topic of interest, while receiving guidance from my mentors, and support from the CARAS team. I learned a lot not only about my research topic, but the research process itself, and feel better prepared for continuing my research career after graduation!
I want to be an advocate for student research and encourage students to pursue what they're excited about! Additionally, I'd like to be helpful in their research process, answering any questions or sharing my own experiences.
Other info about me: I am involved in other Temple organizations, I serve as the Secretary for Music Therapy Club and Music Director at the Temple University Newman Center.
