Data Science w/ conc. Bioinformatics and Genomics major

I began my research journey in my sophomore year, studying the effects of tornadoes on temperate deciduous forest mortality through the Undergraduate Research Program (project link). Simultaneously, I conducted clinical research in Temple Hospital's cardiology department, which led to a published paper at the start of my junior year (paper link). This past summer, I participated in an NSF-funded REU program at IIT Madras, applying machine learning to Urban Air Mobility (UAM). As an aspiring physician, I aim to merge my data science expertise with medical research.

I believe in creating opportunities rather than waiting for them, and I’m eager to help others tap into the diverse research opportunities Temple offers. I also enjoy supporting students through the research application process, which can often feel overwhelming.

A bit more about me: I’m the first in my family to pursue a medical career, and in my free time, I love staying active by learning and watching all types of sports.
