Biology major; Spanish minor

I first became involved in research through URP (College of Science and Technology's Undergraduate Research Program) during my sophomore year and joined Dr. Stefania Gallucci's immunology lab. I am still currently working in the lab and my research experience has consisted of learning a lot of different lab techniques and improving my scientific writing skills. The experience I have in undergraduate research has been one of the most important aspects of my time at Temple in terms of both mentorship and my academic growth.

I'm really excited to lead other students through gaining research experience. I was super nervous when I first began, and having guidance through the process of interviewing for a lab to actually taking part in research is so helpful. There is so much that I wish I had known prior to starting, and I'm really grateful to be part of a resource that will help future undergraduate researchers!

Other info about me:  I love volunteering at Temple and in the community! I've previously volunteered at the Cherry Pantry and Puentes de Salud. I'm also involved in Phi Delta Epsilon, the pre-med fraternity on campus! In my free time, I love to read and I'm a big plant person :)
